Types of Probate in Oklahoma that you need to know for your Estate Plan

There is summary probate and regular probate. Summary probate will only be used if the decedent leaves no real property (real estate) or personal property (anything other than real estate). You must also meet certain requirements under summary probate, such as the monetary size of the estate. Other requirements for summary pro bate are included in today's video

Regular probate should be used whenever a person dies leaving any real property or personal property because summary probate cannot be used to transfer title to real property.
